February 2006: SV Chapter Member Appreciation Reception

Over 80 members and their guests attended the gala Member Appreciation Reception sponsored by NAWBO Silicon Valley on February 21st, 2006.

Delightful nibbles were provided by the Capital Club for this event, including a chocolate fountain.

Monika Miles, Programs Director charmed the audience with chapter announcements. Carla Cobb Davis introduced the current and matriculating corporate partners including Michael Comerate, GM of The Capital Club, Michael Chang, Lockheed Martin, Elaine Ellis of Integrated Financial, and Denise Coley and Charleen Hamel of Cisco Systems.

Each member and guest present was invited to stand and introduce themself and their business.

Ann Tardy of LifeMoxie, the event speaker, regaled the audience with her presentation: The Moxie Secret Sauce - Learn to Jumpstart Your Life with a Dose of Moxie!

The event ended on a high note with Ann Tardy encouraging NAWBO-SV members to empower themselves and open up space for possibilities.
