SPEAKER BIO

Valerie Swisher – CEO/President of Oak Hill Corporation — Valerie Swisher is well known for her work in product analysis, project management, and documentation design. She started her company as a one-woman show in 1994, and has built the corporation based on dedication to developing client and contractor relationships. Today, Oak Hill serves over 70 clients in a variety of industries with more than 900 senior professionals in writing, illustration and production management. The focus is development of technical documentation, marketing collateral and training materials for the most innovative and successful technology companies in the world.

Tricia Cooper – Director of Channel Marketing, Siemens Enterprise Corporations - As Director of Channel Marketing at Siemens Enterprise Communications, Tricia Cooper is responsible for leading a cross-functional, cross-cultural team in formulating and implementing a multi-channel integrated marketing plan for the North American market. Siemens is a premier provider of end-to-end enterprise communications, including voice, network infrastructure and security solutions that use open, standards-based architectures to unify communications and business applications for a seamless collaboration experience.

Tricia's focus includes creating marketing strategies that enable partners to transform and grow their businesses, adopt new technologies, and improve their profitability.  Responsibilities include developing initiatives to create, communicate and promote new marketing campaigns, activities and deliverables. Also to drive the market launch of new, innovative unified communications product and services offers, demand generation, press alignment, event strategies and customer showcase marketing programs.  Over the course of her 13 years with Siemens, Tricia brings a wealth of experience in IP, Unified Communications and end-to-end Services.  She has held several senior leadership positions in operations, sales management and marketing. Tricia has been a speaker and a resource to the media through interviews, and has published a number of articles.

Tricia is a graduate of Colorado State University with a B.S. in Marketing and a minor in Economics.

Jennifer Blatnik – Director of Product Management, Cisco Systems - She and her team drive Cisco Systems Small Business product roadmap for many technologies that help small businesses leverage the ‘Net for greater customer intimacy and improved productivity. She is an expert in routing, voice, and unified communications. Cisco Systems, Inc. is the worldwide leader in networking for the Internet. Today, networks are an essential part of business, education, government and home communications, and Cisco’s Internet Protocol-based (IP) networking solutions are the foundation of these networks. Cisco is creating a powerful communications platform that will serve as the basis for the convergence of data, voice, video and mobile communications in a secure, integrated architecture.
