Ms. MacRae’s speech entitled, “Seize the Possibilities!” is a discussion about the wonderful possibilities there are for us as women business owners, for us as chapters, for us as members of vibrant communities. September 2002: Women in Art, Women in BusinessAnnual Co-hosted Dinner with San Francisco NAWBOPresented by: NAWBO-SV and the San Jose Museum of Art Our next regular meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 12th. The meeting will be held at the San Jose Museum of Art, which is located at 110 South Market Street, San Jose. For directions to the San Jose Museum of Art, please call 408-291-5376, or visit their Web site at SAN JOSE MUSEUM OF ART. Parking is available in lots around the Museum on San Fernando from Market Street to Third Street. Visit the Downtown Association parking Web site for more information at SAN JOSE DOWNTOWN PARKING. The monthly meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m., with a private, self-directed or optional Docent-led museum tour of the exhibit “Parallels & Intersections: Art/Women/California, 1950-2000” At 6:45 p.m., all attendees will retire to the Charlotte Wendel Room for a buffet style meal provided by The Museum Cafi. The speakers for this monthly event are a panel of three women who were honored at the Women at the Top Event, which was held on August 22, 2002, by NAWBO in cooperation with the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal. The panel consisting of Joanne Devlin, Black Diamond Paving, Carla Cobb Davis, DBC Commercial, and Jesse Cool, Flea St. Cafi/Cooleatz Catering Company, will share their experiences in business with the group.
