Stephanie Olano (she/her) is the passionate founder of Awkward Money, LLC, a coaching business dedicated to healing financial trauma by creating a safe, shame-free environment for clients. As a prominent Latinx speaker, consultant, and content creator, Stephanie has built a reputation for her deeply empathetic and culturally sensitive approach to financial well-being.
She specializes in centering her work around the unique financial challenges and inherited money trauma experienced by BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) and Latinx individuals. Her expertise lies in gently guiding clients to understand and navigate the complex intersections of cultural background, systemic inequality, and financial anxiety.
Stephanie’s core mission is to empower clients to move beyond cycles of scarcity and fear. She provides the necessary frameworks to develop a sustainable, resilient, and deeply values-aligned relationship with money. Her methodology is distinctly holistic and trauma-informed, focusing on co-creating a personalized financial system that organically complements an individual’s unique brain wiring (including neurodiversity), their non-linear income pattern, and the needs of their nervous system. Through this work, Stephanie is facilitating a profound shift: ensuring money becomes a tool for liberation and alignment, rather than a source of shame.
