Congratulations to our own Mary Mora, recipient of the Unsung (S)hero Award at the 2026 Women’s Leadership & Policy Summit!
Hosted by Santa Clara County Supervisor Betty Duong and the Valley Health Foundation on October 10, the award honors nearly a decade of devotion to Latina entrepreneurs and immigrant women in Silicon Valley.
In 2016, Mary founded Unidas Somos Más Fuertes, creating a place where women who often face isolation and limited resources can learn, grow, and lean on one another. Through entrepreneurship training, workshops, wellness programs, and one-on-one mentorship, she helps women build their businesses with confidence.
Mary is also the owner of Immaculate Cleaning Services, an eco-friendly cleaning company in Santa Clara.
In her words: “This award belongs to the women of UNIDAS and to the immigrant women who show up every day for their families and their dreams.”
