Marylene Delbourg-Delphis is a serial entrepreneur who became one of the first European women to found (with Guy Kawasaki) a technology company in Silicon Valley. The CEO of three additional companies in succession, she has also helped over 30 companies (so far) as a “shadow” CEO, board member, and strategy advisor in a variety areas that matter to almost every single company today, regardless of size: Analytics and Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, Business Process Management, Cloud Management, Digital Transformation, International Development, Talent Management, etc.. 

A prolific writer, she has turned out a large number of articles as a journalist and blogger. She authored (in French) five books on fashion before starting her first tech company. Starting in the mid-2000s, she translated and/or prefaced 10 business books for French-speaking entrepreneurs, by Guy Kawasaki, Seth Godin and Robert Scoble. In 2018, she wrote Everybody Wants to Love their Job, published by her French publisher. Her book about Innovation (Beyond Eureka! The Rocky Roads to Innovating) is scheduled for June 2024 and will be published by Georgetown University Press.

A graduate of l’Ecole Normale Supérieure in France, she holds a Doctorate in Philosophy and minors in Mathematical Logic and History of Sciences. In 2018, she was awarded The Legion of Honor, the highest French order of merit for military and civil accomplishments and in 2023, she received the Woman Leadership Award Woman Leadership Award, issued by French-American Chamber of Commerce of San Francisco.
