Dear NAWBO Silicon Valley Members & Friends,

Black History Month is a time we pay tribute to the heroes and heroines of U.S. history and recognize the vast contributions they have made to American culture. On Inauguration Day we heard from poet Amanda Gorman, her powerful words continue to resonate deeply with me.

“So, while once we asked,
how could we possibly prevail over catastrophe?
Now we assert
How could catastrophe possibly prevail over us?
We will not march back to what was but move to what shall be”

“For there is always light,
if only we’re brave enough to see it
If only we’re brave enough to be it”
