Regina is the Co-Founder, President and CEO of dfusion, a small and mighty public health company that uses science and technology to develop innovative products to advance health and well-being.

In it’s nearly 10 year’s of operation, dfusion has been highly successful in winning Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) awards from National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Department of Education, and the National Science Foundation.  Weeks after WOSB certification, the National Women’s Business Council awarded dfusion a contract to research women entrepreneurship in rural, Tribal and other underserved U.S. communities.

Regina has served as Principal Investigator on over a dozen SBIR studies, in addition to directing a variety of state, federal and private grant and contract projects. Her work has spanned many health and educational content areas with the common thread of helping to improve the health and well-being of youth, people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, and people with particularly vulnerable life circumstances.  She brings her expertise in evidence-based sexual and reproductive health programming, skills-based training design and development, and

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola Marymount University and a Master’s in Public Health from California State Northridge.  Throughout her career, she has earned several specialty health education certifications.

Regina lives in Santa Cruz County’s San Lorenzo Valley where she hikes with her pup and captures the beauty of the area in her paintings. She serves on the Board of the Santa Cruz Mountain Arts Center.
